How Do I Go About Writing a Book?

Many people have a vision of what they want to say, but don't know how to go about getting it written in a traditional book format.

1. Get a subject or story that you are proficient. We will fact check on a limited basis. You are wholly responsible for the content and expertise of your writing.

2. Develope an outline. This is an extremely easy and effective way to quickly and efficiently organize your book.

Are you ready to publish your book with LifeWork Communications? We look forward to getting your book into the hands of readers! Before you begin, please review our Manuscript Preparation Guidelines and Submission Checklist. This will make it faster and easier for you to get published with us.
Also, before you begin, you should choose your Publishing Program. For as little as $999, you can get published with LifeWork Communications! Imagine becoming a published author in as little as 45 days.
The FIRST STEP is to get published is to complete our Online Publishing Agreement. This is where you tell us about your book, choose your programs, and arrange for payment. We do not necessarily need your final manuscript at this time. You can send it later.
Our online agreement will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You may exit the process at anytime and the information will be saved for 2 hours. If you are paying with a credit card or bank check, please have it handy for ready reference. To review a sample agreement, please click here.
The SECOND STEP is to send us your manuscript, graphics, author photograph, and anything else that will appear in your book or on your book cover design. Click here to send. You can do this today, or later. Remember, once you send us your manuscript, it’s final. If you make additional changes there will be additional fees.
If you’ve already designed your own book cover, or if you’ve already composed/typeset your text, please refer to our Print Ready Guidelines.
The THIRD STEP is to send us your book summary and author biography, which we’ll use on the back cover of your book and for promotional purposes to sell copies of your book to bookstores and on the Internet. Click here to send.
Once you complete these steps, you’re on your way to becoming a published author. You will be assigned a personal author support representative to help guide you through the publishing process.
